Step-by-Step Process

  1. Bears must register individually and pay a non-refundable $10 pre-registration fee, which also guarantees your sweatshirt on the day of the event. Register online or by using the printable registration form.
  2. Once registered, Bears begin to seek donations and must raise a minimum of $50. We encourage Bears to use our convenient, safe and easy-to-use online fundraising tool.
  3. We hope Bears will raise more than the minimum $50, and so we have provided incentives for those who raise larger amounts of money.
  4. You will not be asked to submit the pledge form, but some Bears like to use a pledge form to document their donations.
  5. Once registered, you will automatically receive any Plunge mailings and email notices that are sent out with important information and updates on the Plunge.
  6. If you plan to make a weekend of it and attend the Plunge Festival, book your hotel early.
  7. Remember - even though you are pre-registered, you MUST register at the Plunge itself and can do so at the Plunge Headquarters - Atlantic Sands Hotel - on either Friday (5 p.m. - 8 p.m.), Saturday (10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.) or under the tent on Rehoboth Avenue on Sunday (10 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.).
  8. If you will be under the age of 18 on the day of the Plunge, you must bring a waiver form signed by a parent/legal guardian. Please print the waiver form, have it signed, and bring it with you when you register on site.
