Signs showing air and water temps at the Lewes Polar Bear Plunge
Friday, March 12

5:00 - 8:00 p.m.: Registration open at the Atlantic Sands Hotel (Run to the Plunge participants may also register at this location and time)

*Every Bear who registers at the Atlantic Sands on Friday night will have his/her name entered in a raffle for a 19-inch television and other super gift certificates to local restaurants. Drawing will take place Friday at 8 p.m. at the Sands, winner need not be present.

Saturday, March 13

10:00 a.m.: Ice Sculpting Demonstration at the Bandstand, sponsored by BOSS Enterprises

11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.: Registration open at the Atlantic Sands Hotel for Polar Bears only

12 noon: Run to the Plunge registration open under the tent near the Bandstand on Rehoboth Avenue

2:00 p.m. (note time change): 5k Run/Walk to the Plunge

2:30 p.m.: Ice Sculpting judging (time approximate)

3:00 - 6:00 p.m.: Chili Contest sponsored by Peninsula Oil & Propane

All Day: Activities for Kids

Sunday, March 14

10:00 a.m.: Registration opens under the tent on Rehoboth Avenue and the Boardwalk near the Bandstand

All Day: Activities for Kids

1:00 p.m.: LEWES POLAR BEAR PLUNGE

1:15 p.m.: Apres Plunge Party at the Convention Center in Rehoboth Beach
