Ice Sculpting Contest: The Plunge weather the previous few years has been ideal for just hanging out on the boardwalk. Make sure your kids watch the talents of our ice sculptors as they shape a chunk of ice into a near real-life figurine.

Sculpting will begin at approximately 10 a.m. on Saturday morning on the Boardwalk in front of the Atlantic Sands Hotel, with judging taking place at approximately 2:00 p.m.

5k Run/Walk: The 5k Run to the Plunge is Saturday at 1 p.m. starting on the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk. This 5k event is open to the most serious runners, casual joggers and those just wanting to go out for a Saturday stroll for a great cause.

It's the perfect way to spend the early afternoon as a family and work off those extra calories you'll then eat up during the chili contest.
