Directions and Parking
The Polar Bear Plunge Headquarters is located at the Atlantic Sands Hotel at the end of Baltimore Avenue and the Boardwalk.
Going north or south, take the Rehoboth Avenue exit off of Route 1 (located just north of Dewey Beach and south of Lewes).
Parking is on your own (unless of course you make it a weekend and stay at one of the several hotels offering great deals to our Polar Bears).
The crowd will be similar to a summer holiday weekend at the beach (some claim even bigger). Our only advice is come early on Sunday, be patient looking, and don’t park in any spots that are “permit only,” “handicap,” or marked any other way forbidding parking. Even though it’s not beach season, tickets will still be issued if you park illegally.
