Prizes & Awards

A special "Thanks" to all of our Bears who have been so generous with their support of this event and Special Olympics Delaware.

Special recognition is bestowed upon those Bears who raise the most money, have the most friends, and look the best plunging.

Pros-Bear-ity Award

• Given to the Bear who raises the most money. The winner receives a unique piece of stained glass art – designed by Dragonfly Leathrum – commemorative of this year’s Plunge.

Bunch of Bears Award

• Recognizes the individual or group who recruits the most Bears. Prize is a unique piece of stained glass art – designed by Dragonfly Leathrum – commemorative of this year’s Plunge.

Debonair Bear Award

• Awarded to the best-dressed individual Bear or group of Bears. Winning photo will be featured on this page for the entire next year. Groups should email us their photo in JPEG format by Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, to be considered for the contest.

Super Bowl Spirit Award

• Presented annually to the NFL fan with the most spirit (no matter what team you are cheering for). Winner will receive a 5×7 framed photo of you and/or your group and some special Polar Bear treats!
